Read the Event Guide and website carefully
Each destination is open at specific times over the Open House Perth weekend so be sure to double check the opening times and dates for each destination you’d like to visit to ensure you don’t miss out.

How do I get inside?
Look out for an Open House Perth banner or one of our friendly volunteers. This year’s event venues require a booking for entry, this must be done through the OHP website. You will receive confirmation a few days prior to the event.

Baby it’s hot outside
Check the weather forecast for the Open House Perth weekend before venturing out. If it’s hot, don’t forget to slip, slop, slap and drink plenty of water. If the rains are comin’ grab a brolly and drive carefully!

So many destinations, so little time
We recommend you plan ahead! With several destinations open across the Open House Perth weekend, it’s a good idea to make a list of your favourite locations and when they are open.

Be in the loop
For all the latest event information and updates, stay tuned to Open House Perth social media and website. We’ll do our best to keep these updated in real time!

Limited capacity
We anticipate many visitors to OHP locations over the weekend. This means that destinations may not be able to accommodate all visitors. Booking is essential, as we won’t be able to accommodate walk-ins on the day.

How do I get around? Where do I park?
Some destinations, particularly residential locations, have limited parking. We recommend you car pool, walk, ride, catch public transport or utilise a ridesharing or taxi service. Remember to obey all road and parking regulations and respect everyone’s neighbours.

Something unusual?
If you notice something unusual or untoward at one of our destinations, please let us know as soon as possible. You can approach a volunteer at the location, or contact us via our website or social media messaging channels, they will be closely monitored over the Open House Perth weekend.

Don’t worry, be happy!
Our volunteers and organisers are helping out because they love the city. Please be kind and courteous to this great bunch of people – this event couldn’t happen without them!
