Stackwood is a creative venue located in the warehouse district of Fremantle. Housed in a former diesel workshop, the Stackwood community encompasses a concept store full of plants and makers wares, studios, an event space and a cafe.

Their mission is a simple one: to encourage a more wholesome way of living. Let’s meet our neighbours and share a nourishing meal. Let’s learn new (in fact, old) skills like propagating, crafting, cooking and making.

Visit behind the scenes into the creative life of the warehouse including their pottery studio, riso design lab and artist spaces. There will also be free artist talks throughout the day from HOLLY RAZAVI (11am), WINTERWARES (12pm) and NEIGHBOURHOOD PRESS (1pm).

Australian label MAGPIE GOOSE (10am – 2pm) will pop up in the Stackwood concept store over the weekend. They’ll be bringing their beautiful bold prints designed by Aboriginal artists, hand screen printed in Australia.

Iconic Perth artist ANYA BROCK will also be hosting a number of public workshops under the warehouse roof to celebrate Open House Perth.

The cafe and urban jungle space at Stackwood is a great resting place for punters following the trail of Fremantle architectural homes open to the public.
