Primarily a family home, the design incorporates room for each of the four people in the family to have their own space. The home office on the ground floor has separate access, there is an outdoor bathroom, an activity room with access to outside, a large alfresco which extends the indoor dining area when bi-folds are open, maximizing the outlook to the nature reserve across the road.

Open plan living leads to the pool and landscaping to be a focal point. The home office also functions as guest bedroom or future master bedroom. The full height windows help to maximize the outlook from every possible angle. Upstairs the three bedrooms have natural ventilation through the use of Louvre windows capturing afternoon breezes, as well as ceiling fans to minimize the need for air-conditioning.

Timber-look powder coated aluminium battens were sourced from the eastern states to achieve the low maintenance brief as well as a talking point for the home. The Earthy colour palette both blends and compliments the surroundings.
